@boomers_ass MRTT is the surely the lowest risk interim option and would be a decent stop gap. I’m sure USAF exchange crew must have some experience of the MRTT (maybe they say it’s crap).
@RealAirPower1 Sea Harrier and F-4 Phantom are the only ones that have done any meaningful “fighting” against other jets. One was so effective the enemy nicknamed it - La Muerte Negra.
F-8 should also be included.
@Pacman271@nicholadrummond 3 Typhoon T1s would be a welcome change. The reds have been tired for years, French and Italian teams are much more exciting.
@73Falken44@Cmdr_Hadfield@robmacd72 The Hurricane was the workhorse of the Battle of Britain — rugged, numerous and responsible for most kills. The Spitfire was the high-performance fighter that could match the Bf 109 and keep the Luftwaffe’s escorts occupied.
