My purpose in the game is fulfilled ⭐️
I lived out my childhood dreams, played on the biggest stages, won the biggest trophies. Grateful to God for all of it.
To all my fans, the clubs, my teammates and my family: this will forever be ours. Thank you.
The mission is complete. Now I step into my next calling.
More of the journey to come.
Love,
Divock Origi

Been to Anfield to pay my respects to Diogo. Arriving there is when it hit me that this has really happened. Seen a few familiar faces on 97 Avenue, all sharing the same sadness. All in complete disbelief. On the way home, the radio played two versions of Oasis’ - Live Forever. Upsetting, but fitting.
Diogo Jota has brought smiles to all of our faces because of his ability on the pitch. Those goals he’d nick out of nowhere and those magical, unstoppable dribbles made him a Kop hero, something he’ll always remain. But away from football he came across as a genuinely nice, honest, humble lad who adored his team mates and family. It felt like he was just like us. A normal person fortunate enough to for-fill his dreams, and by doing so he for-filled ours too.
Diogo Jota’s song will be sung on The Kop for generations to come. His legacy will outlive all of us and not just because he was a fantastic footballer, but because he was a special man.
I pray that his missus, kids & family can feel all of us walking alongside them for as long as they need us, they will never walk alone.
Diogo Lives Forever 💔
A brilliant footballer on the pitch, but most importantly an unbelievable person and family man off it ❤️
Diogo had a number of inspirational women in his life, both personally and professionally, that helped shape him and was a fantastic advocate of Women’s sport.
Rest in peace, Diogo and Andre Silva. You Will Never Walk Alone.
