the armoury system has been inherently flawed since 2.0 and at odds with weekly tomes/coffers. the game should encourage job swapping as it is still one of its strongest niches in the market. FF has always encouraged experimenting with different jobs since the 90s.

In 8.0 players will be able to sync all their jobs to the highest item level of equipment they own. So if you're max item level on one, you can sync your other jobs to that same ilvl #FFXIV
