I’ve seen some fans say they don’t really like how revealing Sakura’s been dressing. I know we all love her and care about her and I understand where those concerns are coming from, but Sakura can wear whatever she wants and honestly I think that goes for all women

It’s not like just because Sakura is turning 30 she suddenly has to show skin or dress a certain way. But if she wants to wear something more revealing as an adult then she has every right to do that too. Her age doesn’t take away her right to feel good about her own body or decide how she wants to present herself.

And honestly I’m really happy to see Sakura being more confident wearing the things she actually wants. I don’t think she has to dress sexy to prove that she’s confident but when she wants to wear something bold and she feels good in it I think that’s something worth celebrating.

She has talked before about discussing what she wants to wear with her stylists so I really don’t think we should automatically assume that the company forced her into such a revealing outfit at this stage. And that bra top she wore on tour this morning had like three different layers and was pulled super tight for support so clearly they prepared pretty carefully to prevent any wardrobe malfunctions.

Of course I understand why some fans might worry. Nobody wants Sakura to have a wardrobe malfunction on stage or have creeps zooming in on her private parts. Those concerns are understandable especially when she’s performing in front of thousands of people.

But if people are worried about creeps doing that then the creeps are the ones who should be called out. Not Sakura. Sakura wearing a revealing outfit doesn’t give anyone permission to sexualize her body or deliberately film her in inappropriate ways. A woman choosing to show skin is not an invitation for people to stare at whatever they want or cross her boundaries.

And I really don’t like the idea that women have to dress differently because some ppl can’t behave themselves. “Don’t wear that or people will bla bla bla” just puts the responsibility on the wrong person.

Sakura is allowed to be confident in her body. She’s allowed to like her body. She’s allowed to enjoy fashion and experiment with bolder outfits. She’s allowed to look at herself and think she looks good. To me that’s a kind of body liberation too. Not because she has to show skin but because she gets to decide for herself whether she wants to.

She doesn’t need to dress more modestly just because she’s getting older. She doesn’t need to dress more revealingly either. She can simply wear what makes her feel good.

And personally I’m just really happy that I get to witness Sakura at this stage of her life, being so confident in herself and her body 😭 I love you sm baby 😭
