Heute wird Salman Rushdie 79. 1989 verurteilte ihn das Regime in Teheran zum Tode. Ayatollah Khomeini rief alle Muslime der Welt dazu auf, einen Schriftsteller zu ermorden, nur weil ihm dessen Roman nicht passte. Khomeini lebt seit über 35 Jahren nicht mehr. Sein Mordbefehl aber lebt weiter, noch 2017 bestätigte sein Nachfolger Chamenei das Todesurteil.

Und es blieb nie bei Worten. Rushdies japanischer Übersetzer wurde ermordet, sein italienischer niedergestochen, sein norwegischer Verleger angeschossen. Der islamistische Terror gegen ein einziges Buch reichte bis nach Tokio, Mailand und Oslo. 2022 stach man Rushdie schließlich auf offener Bühne nieder, ausgerechnet bei einem Vortrag über Meinungsfreiheit. Er verlor ein Auge, der Täter verehrte einen seit Jahrzehnten toten Fanatiker.

Das ist der Kern des Islamismus. Er erträgt kein freies Wort, nicht einen Roman oder auch keinen einen Witz. Und während ein Schriftsteller seit fast vierzig Jahren um sein Leben fürchtet, verhandelt der Westen mit seinen Häschern, hofiert das Regime und überweist am Ende noch Geld dafür.
Wer Freiheit ernst meint, verhandelt nicht mit denen, die Schriftsteller auf Todeslisten setzen. Er nennt sie beim Namen: Feinde jeder freien Gesellschaft.

They're not "migrants". Migrants go to an embassy, apply for a visa, wait their turn and then come when they're allowed.

These people are *illegally* entering a European country. Given that Europe has no borders within it, they are effectively entering all of Europe illegally. And from there, since Britain won't enforce our borders either they can come here.

I really hate the language that people sometimes use when discussing these issues but 50 THOUSAND people coming into a country illegally in a day can only be described truthfully with one word: invasion.

These people are invading our countries against our will. If you're someone who is really concerned about the "rise of the far right", you should be calling and actively working for this to be dealt with with extreme urgency. Because if liberals don't police the borders, fascists will.

Deep down inside every leftists heart is a desire to see Europe and the west revenged for colonising Africa.

In a strange and noble way they want to see the Africans have a shot at the prosperity the west has enjoyed.

They forget of course that the success of the west began long before Africa was colonised and despite the trillions of dollars poured into the improvement of the African continent, huge swathes are as primitive as they ever were.

It’s a mentality thing. Like inventing a wheelbarrow, rather than carrying things on your head.

All cultures are different. And all are beautiful in a unique way.

But one thing is for sure.

All cultures are not equal.

This invasion should be repulsed, or our children will be dragged back a thousand years in time.
