Today, on July 8, 1741, Jonathan Edwards preached the famous sermon “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.”
“It doesn’t matter how religious a man is or how many prayers he makes. Until he believes in Christ, God is not obligated in any way to protect him.”
Let's choose to be women who extend grace and forgiveness...
Because we know how desperately we need grace ourselves.
Because we know how freely the Lord has forgiven us.
Because we don’t want to walk around with bitterness, resentment, and anger polluting our hearts.
The Bible teaches us that God will take us to places we have had no intention of going and do not want to go in order to produce in and through us things that we could not produce on our own. The Bible has a name for that. It's called “Grace.”
🚨 JD VANCE NAILS IT ON BIDEN'S CANCER DIAGNOSIS: "We really do need to be honest about whether the former president was capable of doing the job [...] I don't think that he was in good enough health. In some ways, I blame him less than I blame the people around him."
"You can separate the desire for him to have the right health outcome with the recognition that whether it was doctors or whether there were staffers around the former president, I don't think he was able to do a good job for the American people. And that's not politics. That's not because I disagreed with him on policy. That's because I don't think that he was in good enough health."
"And why didn't the American people have a better sense of his health picture? Why didn't the American people have more accurate information about what he was actually dealing with? This is serious stuff."
"This is the guy who carries around the nuclear football for the world's largest nuclear arsenal. This is not child's play."
"And we can pray for good health, but also recognize that if you're not in good enough health to do the job, you shouldn't be doing the job."
💯 @JDVance
This is a monumental teaching moment.
Ignore all the noise about Elon Musk, and look at what he and his team just did.
While the Democrats are burning down Tesla’s dealerships, SpaceX just saved these two astronauts who Joe Biden left stranded.
NASA gets $25 billion a year and couldn’t do this.
Without SpaceX, they likely would have died in space.
Thank you, Elon.
NBC News attempts to blame President Trump for Toronto plane crash due to FAA cuts.
FACT CHECK: This happened under Canadian authority under Canadian air traffic control.
Coolest thing I saw yesterday. Nick Sanders, a freshman running back asking Cam Skattebo if he can pray for him. And then the two kneeling together for prayer.
So so good!

JD VANCE introduces himself to the American people:
"I was raised in a working class family. My mother required food assistance for periods of her life. My grandmother required Social Security help to raise me, and she raised me in part because my own mother struggled with addiction for a big chunk of my early life. I went to college on the GI Bill after I enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in Iraq.
And so I stand here asking to be your Vice President with extraordinary gratitude for this country, for the American Dream that made it possible for me to live my dreams… I want to try to convince you tonight, over the next 90 minutes, that if we get better leadership in the White House, if we get Donald Trump back in the White House, the American Dream is going to be attainable once again."
