I had an oversight visit joined by Energy and Electricity Business Unit officials at Klerksoord Substation in ward 98 and the Nelmapius Substation in Mamelodi , ward 86.

The purpose of these visits was to assess operational challenges , engage directly with officials on the ground , and work towards practical solutions.

These oversights engagements form part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening electricity infrastructure, improving network reliability , and ensuring sustainable service delivery to our communities.

By working together as a team, we are able to identify challenges early, implement corrective measures , and accelerate interventions that contribute to electricity stabilisation across the City.

The Chinese government saw the news of their people being caught selling counterfeit goods here in South Africa and instead of acting like victims and treating their citizens like Hero’s for breaking our laws! The first thing they did was to call out their citizens for breaking the laws of our country, told them that they don’t support their actions and offered support to South Africa… Now you guys tell me… WHY is it so difficult for African leaders to do the same?
