@imaroundguy I think there's context here. BRAT I recall is a temporary diet to attempt to control gastric distress... Supposed to be "bland". I have my doubts that it helps. Eating nothing seems like a better alternative.
@TiffanyBond Aw, it just matters how you feel. If you eat like this and don't feel well, don't hesitate to try something else. It's been my painful realization that the dietary advice dished out the last half century is garbage and based entirely on the unfounded evils of saturated fat.
@jamesmullinger Congrats. I really want to visit Saint John, only a bit over 2 hours away, but crossing the border still a pita atm. I've been to Woodstock and Fred now but Bay if Fundy is def on the bucket list. Glad I found your media.
@TiffanyBond In my own personal experience losing a large amount of weight and ditching many health problems in the process, I had to overcome modern dietary dogma and my own cognitive bias around food.
@kristenwells Also, when Intrigued my brain dances with questions, I have to check myself here too, too personal or too much. On top of all this my mouth doesn't always translate the brain's signals so I have to correct way I say. It's awkward and it's not nerves, it just runs in the family.
@kristenwells I feel the same. An introvert most of my life, socializing is now fun but still a bit mentally exhausting. I just have to realize what you just said, not everyone looking to make friends... This is where I need to check myself.
A woman meets a doctor at a party. "What sort of doctor are you?" she asks him.
"I'm a Naval Surgeon," he says.
"...Wow, you guys really specialize!" she replies.
