@British_Airways Montreal Convention, the operating carrier that checks in and transports the baggage is liable for its delivery, unless explicitly transferred. BA retained the bags until they were loaded onto BA133 on August 7th, you are liable for both the delay and any associated damages.

@British_Airways You now have the baggage tag numbers, and since the bags were last at Heathrow and meant to be loaded onto BA133, British Airways is in a position to trace them.

Please take responsibility for the disruption caused — the liability lies with BA, not the passenger.

My bags never left Heathrow and were supposed to be loaded onto flight BA133 on the 7th — which is a British Airways flight. This makes it a BA responsibility to trace and resolve the issue, not simply redirect me to Saudi Airlines.
