And a tip is what it is. A bonus for good service.
It’s not something you should expect irrelevant of what country you’re in albeit in USA it’s an expectation. Well you have to earn your tip, not expect it. And we the customer decide.

@HMRCcustomers I submitted a refund request on 12th October which is repaid with 2 weeks as per message. It also states not to contact until 4 weeks which have passed. I did a Chatbot inquiry and it stated I should receive a reply by 14/03/2026. Please advise if this is correct.

@greateranglia I appealed on 10th October for a train journey I took and was advised that “A member of the team will manually review your claim and we will get back to you within 10 working days.”It is now 14 working days and not heard or received any compensation? Update please.
