Donated to the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition today to help others get their right to vote. Trying to help fight the good fight while taking deep breaths and watching this everyday before election day. #Vote#BidenHarris2020 https://t.co/OK6TZmON0w
In tonight’s presidential debate the President said the “Portland Sheriff” supports him. As the Multnomah County Sheriff I have never supported Donald Trump and will never support him.
@Ford is the main sponsor of the #KyDerby, one of the biggest employers in Louisville, supposed supporter of Black Lives Matter movement too, but has said NOTHING to demand justice for Louisvillian Breonna Taylor. 🤔
The #KyDerby is happening in Breonna Taylor's hometown. If you're watching, demand @kyoag and @louisvillemayor arrest and charge the police officers who murdered her!
What a hypocrite. Elon Musk has received billions in corporate welfare from U.S. taxpayers. Now he wants to stop 30 million Americans who lost jobs from receiving $600 a week in unemployment benefits, while his wealth has gone up by $46.7 billion over the past 4 months. Pathetic.
Whenever I die, please don't allow my image to be co-opted by the power establishment. Don't let my name & likeness be used to argue for peace in the absence of justice. I believe uncompromisingly in the liberation of the black, poor and oppressed from systems of white supremacy
Instead of getting mad at your child’s teacher for wanting to stay alive, get mad at the government for refusing to provide monthly stimulus checks, more unemployment money, rent freezes, and childcare subsidies. The government has failed to act, not teachers.
Roger Stone. Found guilty by a jury on 7 federal criminal counts. No jail time.
Kalief Browder. Accused of stealing a backpack. Couldn’t post bail. Spent 3 years at Riker’s awaiting trial. Ultimately committed suicide after released.
We have two justice systems in our country.
Trump commutes the prison sentence of Roger Stone while the officers that killed Breonna Taylor are still free. The two systems of justice in this country must end.
It’s up to all of us—Black, white, everyone—no matter how well-meaning we think we might be, to do the honest, uncomfortable work of rooting it out. It starts with self-examination and listening to those whose lives are different from our own.
Breonna Taylor should be celebrating her birthday today.
Let's honor her life today, and every day and continue to call for #JusticeforBre. She was essential and her family needed her.
@louisvillemayor, fire the officers now! Dial Fischer at 844-298-2731
I’m joining #8CantWait to urge local mayors to enact policies that have the power to reduce police violence that results in death in our major cities by up to 72%. I urge you to join me. We simply can’t wait — too much is at stake. Learn more: https://t.co/PMHCRDeLQg
