Q: Off-camera, did you also feel like they (YSX and CJK) were the ‘parents’ of the Hongjing family looking after everyone?

ZBY: There are just too many instances! I could talk about it all day and still not finish! Because playing soccer was really exhausting. And on top of that, just imagine what Quanzhou is like in July, it was so hot that all of us ended up suffering from the heat. Jiejie always takes care of us. One time she bought us shaved ice, iced desserts, basically. After we finished a soccer match and went back to our dressing room to rest, there were huge cups of shaved ice piled up like a mountain waiting for us. Like literal mountains of shaved ice. She told us to go eat it. And after that, all of us were completely won over by that shop, she totally got us hooked on it. We became loyal customers because of her.

LJ: At the time, the weather was just unbearably hot. Sometimes the air conditioning wasn’t really enough either. So Fage would invite us to his car to cool off together. Fage also will also usually treat us meals. He was constantly buying us food. Both of them were always taking everyone out to eat.
