@MikeRoach247@TXSTgameday Previous coaches didn’t believe Texas State had a chance at landing these caliber of players. Kinne and Co believe in what they have and don’t take the little brother mentality. The progress this program has made in 3 years is remarkable.
Regardless of your age, race, religion, or political affiliation - if you take 20 minutes out of your day today to watch Eric Church’s commencement speech, you’ll be better for it. Incredible.
Can’t say it often enough - @kdamp@GJKinne and Don Coryell amd @T_Comer1 have made strides in their tenures that us alumni have dreamed about and anticipated for decades.
#attitudefollowsleadership
Been with Texas State football for two weeks now and the biggest thing that’s stood out is the people. Great people all focused on elevating the team. Excited to see what we do this fall #EatEmUpCats
@TXSTJohnson@kdamp Absolutely. Him, Don Coryell, Travis Comer, Tracy Shoemake and a bunch of other folks in that department deserve praise. Could have folded and accepted mediocrity but they chose to work hard and fix it.
Couldn’t agree more. Embracing past players has restored and deepened a lot of #TXST pride that was dismissed under previous leadership. Barrick Nealy, David Bailiff, even Shawn Holton - trying to get them back is one thing but them wanting to come back means everything.
The NFL is VERY worried.
Executives and sponsors are freaking out about the lack of interest in Bad Bunny.
Typically the Halftime Show is the most watched part of the Super Bowl -- it won't be this year.
Why? Kid Rock.
The Super Bowl Halftime Show is about to change forever.
D1. D2. D3. NAIA. JUCO.
Same sacrifice. Same grind.
Same chance to change your life.
The level isn’t the blessing.
The opportunity is.
Don’t complain about a seat at a table that most never touch.
Texas State head coach GJ Kinne:
“I haven’t looked at anyone in the portal yet. Every day has been about retaining our players… but if those kids decide to leave here, they’re gonna regret it because of the people we have in this building.”
