Gutted to learn it's likely bailiff regulation WON'T be in the King’s Speech. Aggressive bailiff behaviour destroys lives. The lack of an independent regulator lets them act with impunity. Legislation was being drafted, so this is disappointing. @Keir_Starmer pls reconsider.

Its likely 50%+ of the people whose doors bailiffs knock on have mental health issues (@mmhpi), every delay means more people are at risk of mistreatment and abuse.

@MartinSLewis Mine stopped working on the stroke of New Year and took 7 months to sort. I was billed averages based on past usage, and for the export from my solar panels was credited at a standard (much lower) rate so did benefit from the energy generated in the incredible weather we had

I don’t think it’s possible to describe just how horrific conditions are in north Gaza - 300,000 are still there, aid is not getting in, reports children are starving to death. It’s too unsafe to get aid trucks there - they are overwhelmed by the hungry. Israel admitted to opening fire on desperate crowds approaching one rare convoy yesterday, there was a stampede. Health officials say 112 were killed in total, 800 wounded. Doctors in the hospitals which are barely functioning told me they couldn’t operate on the wounds as they don’t have supplies. Swathes of north Gaza is rubble. An immediate ceasefire is the *only* way, humanitarians on the ground tell me.
