For the disciple of Christ is a “return to normalcy” really what should be desired? The act of turning from God toward the world is (& has been for some time) the “normal.” A return to this?

What if we sought not to return to the garden but to go beyond? To be the Kingdom now?

Sometimes I just wish Jesus would be clear as to what it means to be His disciple… “So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:33) So is Jesus saying there is a cost to discipleship?#notwhatmanywouldcallthebestlifenow
