If Jesus said his disciples would be known by their love for others, then when we claim to follow him but we are known for our bullying, our mockery, our callousness, and our contempt for others, we are actively taking his name in vain.

Talk about how preachers manipulated scripture to justify slavery.
Eliminate the racism that ruins the story of the brown man from Nazareth.
Reject all xenophobia at the altar.
Stop marketing diversity and fake unity.
It’s 2023, and I’m shocked we even have to say this… slavery did NOT BENEFIT Black people. This country was built on our backs — America benefitted from Black people. ✊🏾
