@mychal3ts@ChrisEliopoulos I think I can speak on behalf of the whole librarian community to say how thankful we are for you, @mychal3ts! You breathe so much joy, kindness, inclusivity and more into our profession! 💗
@dianberly712@mychal3ts For many libraries you can pay for access for a year for a nominal fee! Some libraries are also super cool and might give you a library card (without attaching it to an account) if you ask nicely 😁
@Revwaukena2 @librarianprblms Commenting on an older post here, but this was a sarcastic tweet. Probably something the OP has heard somewhere about librarians (who are of all genders) and, in combination with the image (which is meme-ish) is saying “mmhmm yeah we don’t do that…wink 😉”
@iwouldfthatsu@ErinInTheMorn Exactly! We don’t question cisgender children’s understanding of their gender identity, so why should we question trans kids’?
@YNB @FeministaJones @BarackObama made a tweet celebrating his life and legacy 🤦🏻♀️ I didn’t know anything about Jim Brown, so I’m thankful I saw your tweet immediately after I saw his!
@Johnhaven@ZoAndBehold You’re welcome! It’s a beautiful area in terms of the outdoors and scenery, if you ever get to visit! And home of the best cherries. Also known as an area in which to find huckleberries!
@baseballfan1894@ErinInTheMorn Holding people accountable for the consequences of their work is tough AND professional. A colleague in any other line of work should call out their peers if they see them doing something that is dangerous, and would result in deaths. Why should legislation be any different?
Fackin’ JKR. When you unfollow someone a while back and still see their miserable tweets in your feed (and I’m probably making it worse by retweeting this)…🤦🏻♀️
Dreadful news, which I feel duty bound to share. Activists in my mentions are trying to organise yet another boycott of my work, this time of the Harry Potter TV show. As forewarned is forearmed, I've taken the precaution of laying in a large stock of champagne.
