It’s a brand New Year at Kaffee Meister and we are introducing a new medium roast to try. The “Misty Valley” Yirgacheffe that is usually available as a light roast, is being featured with more roasting development as a medium roast. Sample it this week & regular drip next week.

The specialty coffee for the month of August is our Kenyan light roasted. Very different than last month’s Yirgacheffe, the Kenyan is more savory, than fruity, and is amazingly smooth on the pallet! Try some this month at either shop or take home a pound!

A lot of customers have made comments about how much they enjoy the decaf espresso, and what is the origin of the beans. Here they are! Brazil, Ethiopia, Honduras, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. Enjoy a cup the next time you are in and don’t want the caffeine!

Kaffee Meister is launching a new coffee offering starting the 4th of July. It is our FLASHBREW iced coffee that will create fireworks on your taste buds. A brighter and fruitier light roasted coffee is a nice companion to our current Toddy cold brew.

The specialty coffee for February is an excellent Yirgacheffe from the “Konga” region. It’s probably my favorite light roasted coffee with a very nice berry flavor. Try it at either the Lakeside or Santee shop later this week.

The new crop of Brazil just came in yesterday and will be available the middle of this week starting with the medium espresso. See if you notice the difference!

I just roasted the 2nd batch of Sidama specialty coffee for January. While the 1st batch was smooth and savory, this batch was hotter, and faster, with less development to bring out more of the natural taste of the bean. You’ll find the difference very interesting! Roasted 1/13

Specialty coffee of the month for January is an Ethiopian Sidama region single origin. Light roasted with very nice fruity overtones. Great for an afternoon pick me up!
