A big warm welcome to all our students back to Universiti Malaya! To kickstart your journey, we were so excited to hand out our KMUM Welcome Starter Pack — a little something to help you settle in.

The distribution will take place on 15 October 2025 (Wednesday) at 6:00 p.m. at UM Central, and will be carried out on a first come, first serve basis.

[NOTIS PEMBUKAAN PERMOHONAN PENEMPATAN RUMAH KEDIAMAN SISWA (RKS) SESI AKADEMIK 2025/2026]

Dimaklumkan bahawa permohonan penempatan Rumah Kediaman Siswa (RKS) bagi Sesi Akademik 2025/2026 akan dibuka mulai 1 September 2025.

Sebarang pertanyaan lanjut boleh diajukan kepada Unit RKS melalui saluran rasmi yang disediakan.

Pihak KMUM akan terus memastikan kebajikan mahasiswa sentiasa terpelihara, termasuk dalam urusan penempatan kediaman.

Permohonan boleh dibuat melalui pautan Google Form yang akan diumumkan di Instagram rasmi KMUM.

Kontrak penempatan adalah sah untuk satu sesi akademik sahaja, termasuk bagi penghuni sedia ada. Selepas tempoh tersebut, kontrak akan tamat tanpa pengecualian.

[UMSU DEMANDS JUSTICE FOR ZARA QAIRINA MAHATHIR AND IMMEDIATE ANTI-BULLYING REFORM]

UMSU calls for a comprehensive, transparent investigation into the death of Zara Qairina, free from interference and with findings made public.

We urge zero tolerance for inaction, stronger laws, safe anonymous reporting channels, and mandatory training for teachers and counsellors to protect every student. Zara’s tragedy must be a turning point.
