@311Somerville The city’s sewer is backed up on Perry Street and there is terrible smelling water and toilet paper flooding our porches and garages. Second time in the last week. Modern cities should not have this problem.
Just to be clear: there is nothing “pro-life” about denying people comprehensive sexual education, making birth control harder to access, forcing others to give birth against their will, and stripping them of healthcare and food assistance afterwards.
There's a larger lesson here about failing to listen to sound advice & behaving like your actions have no consequences. If these people are incapable during a pandemic, there is no way they're ever going to tackle the threat to our climate. Competence is beyond them.
From day one, Donald Trump downplayed the threat COVID-19 posed, ignored scientists, and refused to take action.
Now, nearly 5 million cases and more than 150,000 deaths later, it's crystal clear we're paying the price for his failed leadership.
@eFax Tried to cancel my account online & received a message that I would get an email confirmation within 24 hours. Never got it. Instead, I got charged for another month. Calling customer service did not help. They couldn't even see when I cancelled the account online again.
@ikea 3 things were missing from my delivered order today. Your page for "missing&damaged orders" has a link to a contact form for canceling orders, irrelevant. On top of that, I have called your customer service & it constantly hangs up. How are we supposed to get support now?
To reopen schools is to say the lives of your teachers and students are less important than [x]. There is no way around this. If you’re going to mandate it, at least own it.
Thank you @RicardoNArroyo and @Wutrain for standing with our communities’ demands: a 10% cut to the Boston Police Department budget and a commitment to expanding resources for Black and brown residents in our city. @BOSCityCouncil - join them in voting NO on the police budget!
@MattOMalley please consider this important ask! @BOSCityCouncil can address systemic racism in our budget TODAY and make a real investment in Black and brown communities. We need more community-based programs, NOT money for police. Vote NO on the police budget!
