I have a new piece in @RIPEJournal which is part of a forthcoming special issue on Raced Finance. Thanks to @IliasAlami@VincentGuermond & Ali Bhagat for being such fantastic editors 🌟 https://t.co/QramC8jkRQ
My first article 'Britain’s Whiz Kids' is finally out in British Politics. I’d love to tell you more about what you can find in the article. In brief: managerialism was introduced to Britain in the 1960s & 70s through the CPRS and PAR, not the 1980s.
My first article is out with @RIPEJournal and open access! It links venture capital's history and inventions with present-day dynamics in the asset economy. Big thanks to the editorial team and reviewers.

Pleased to have this out in the world (US publication is January 2025). When many are rooting for a candidate whose policies will drive further wealth concentration just because the alternative is fascism, it’s important to take a step back and ask how we got stuck like that.👇

Vol 48 (3) also brings some insights on political economy. Sahil Jai Dutta, @KnafoS, and Ian Alexander Lovering, for example, demonstrate how neoliberal plans for marketisation have forced governments to turn to an approach of Managed Competition.
