Nous condamnons avec fermeté les attaques du M23/RDF lancées sur le camp de déplacés de #Mugunga à Goma ce vendredi 3 mai 2024 et exprimons nos condoléances aux familles des victimes et nos vœux de guérison aux blessés.

Le monde ne peut rester les yeux fermés face aux crimes de masse commis sur des personnes vulnérables par le régime criminel de Kigali dans l’Est de la RDC et doit réagir sans plus tarder pour enrayer le cycle infernal de la violence et de l’impunité.

Nous appelons la communauté des États à faire respecter les principes de base de la Charte des Nations Unies et du droit international humanitaire dans la région des Grands Lacs africains.

Il est urgent de mettre un terme aux agressions récidivistes et à l’ingérence rwandaise en RDC et de passer des paroles creuses et des condamnations de façade à l’adoption de sanctions politiques et économiques fortes.

En outre, nous exhortons les institutions internationales et les États à suspendre leur assistance militaire au Rwanda tant que Kigali apportera son soutien au M23 et n’aura pas retiré ses troupes du territoire congolais.

We strongly condemn the M23/RDF attacks launched on the #Mugunga IDP camp in Goma on Friday May 3, 2024 and express our condolences to the families of the victims and our wishes for healing to the wounded.

The world cannot turn a blind eye to the mass crimes committed against vulnerable people by the criminal regime in Kigali in the eastern DRC, and must react without further delay to stop the vicious cycle of violence and impunity.

We call on the community of States to ensure respect for the basic principles of the United Nations Charter and international humanitarian law in the African Great Lakes region.

There is an urgent need to put an end to recurrent aggression and Rwandan interference in the DRC, and to move on from empty words and perfunctory condemnations to the adoption of strong political and economic sanctions.

We also urge international institutions and states to suspend military assistance to Rwanda until Kigali withdraws its support for the M23 and its troops from Congolese territory.
