Well, in this case "very soon" means 4 years... But it's finally ready! https://t.co/gJc3u5zhJg is a tool for indie game developers preparing to launch their game. Manage press kits, launch tracking, draft game pages privately before going public.

So I haven't really mentioned it but I have been working on developing a website for a domain I bought last year. which is why I haven't done much game dev. My ultimate goal with this site is to help indie developers promote their games.
Coming very soon!
- Explore haunted ruins with friend.
- Search and get cursed...
- RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👻
This game is being made by a solo developer. Would you play it?

I'm building tools to help myself prepare for marketing my indie game. As I build these tools I am sharing them with the indie dev community for no cost. Hope it helps!
I'm about to release my first Steam game. It looks messy and incomplete and I'm starting to think it will flop hard.
So far:
- I'm not sure how to tag the game
- I'm not sure how to make a good capsule
- I'm not sure how much charge for it

The “Vibe Coding” honeymoon is officially OVER.
For a while, it felt magical. Prompt in, product out. No deep context, no architecture, no trade-offs. Just vibes.
But reality is catching up:
• Systems still need to scale • Edge cases still exist • Debugging still hurts • And someone still has to own the code
AI didn’t replace engineering, it amplified the gap between people who understand systems and people who don’t.
“Vibe coding” is great for getting started. But shipping real, reliable software? That still requires thinking.
The engineers who win won’t be the ones who vibe the fastest - they’ll be the ones who understand what the vibe produced.
Stop by the blacksmith for some weapon forging. Components are not just for aesthetics, they have different stats and better at certain types of damage.

Well, if it's no secret among your friends and family that you are an outstanding game dev who's starting on a journey to making their own studio...
As someone who has a passion for creating great games, you're exactly the kind of person Gentleland is always looking for.
Gentleland was created by game devs for game devs with the goal to create better games faster in an environment of collective growth.
Our entire systems are created by experts who were interested in sharing their secrets and just a few months later we grew into this amazing community of over 60+ teams worldwide.
For our members, Gentleland is a way to share their successes and frustrations, discuss new ideas, help each other, cross-promote or share tips and techniques.
It's an environment we created from scratch that allows beginners and veterans alike to uplift each other and thrive.
It's for game devs who constantly want to learn more.
To improve their skills.
To broaden their repertoire.
To express their creativity and to create a healthy studio.
If this sounds like you, we are opening up 5 new seats for our premium program in Gentleland.
We only move forward with a few game devs every now and then.
The reason is simple.
We focus on each game dev's individual and team's needs.
Help them get them set up and make them feel at home.
Each project and each person is different.
You can't do that if you are in a rush.
Alone in the last few months we helped game devs earn 100k+$ through Kickstarter alone and much more through grants and publishing opportunities.
And these are just part of the benefits of what we do.
Your best way to secure a seat with us is via our application form on our website.
You can find it over here: https://t.co/rPHCVSUdhZ
Or simply write us a DM, we are always happy to help.
@RavenEAP@dawgnation2112@dawgnation2112 start with tutorials on YouTube with a game engine that looks interesting to you Unreal if you can't code (blueprints) if you can code there are hundreds of options. Then once you feel comfortable I'd recommend doing game jams. You can do me if you have questions.
is your player object the same as your character object? learn why you should be separating them, and how to implement it in your #gamemaker projects. in fact, this technique can be used for any #gamedev project
DON'T SCREAM, has just surpassed 100k sales in less than one week! Some of you might not know my backstory, but here it is:
Just a few years ago, I was up a ladder with a paintbrush in hand, dreaming of pursuing my passion for game dev and marketing games. (1/9)🧵👇
