It is an ambitious project and I don't know if I succeed. If it is something that I am doing only for myself, I may just stop it in between. That's why I am doing this poll.
I am thinking about rewriting @handlebarsjs from scratch, and create a language-spec as I go along. It's a big project, but it could be fun. Would this be valuable for you?
This is my first very-early WIP. https://t.co/v6YKE5Orcb
My plan is to take one existing feature at a time, extend the spec, write tests and then implement it in the new parser.
The goal is to have a compatible implementation in the end.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a framework where components look like React, reactivity is done like in Vue.js compositions? I thought so, and now I found out that @solid_js is exactly that. And it already exists for 5 years ๐ฒ https://t.co/5GQJ4DhGHg
The ultimate web-frontend setup? @knappi79 weiร, wovon er redet. In seinem Talk auf der #OPENRHEINMAIN hat er vor vollem Haus sein Tricks geteilt. Kommt vorbei und kommt an unseren Stand, wir haben Chips! ๐คซ
@bitwiseman@handlebarsjs No, at the moment I have too many other things going on. Sorry. It started with the lockdown and homescooling last year. But tbh, I'm not using it nyself amymore and this takes away one big motivator...
@bitwiseman@handlebarsjs Problem is, when I start working on things like that in the evening, its very hard to stop before midnight. That in turn means not enough sleep and bad temper after a couple of such days.
People think of pull requests as โfree code.โ
Contributors tend to think of it as free as in beer while maintainers think of it as free as in puppies.
@support_npm there are two security advisories for the handlebars-package that should be on https://t.co/uYPCTx4yVN but aren't. I have been trying to tell you multiple times, but all my tickets and mails get declined instantly. What is the proper way to do this?
