@earlymusicshop Doen Daphne d'over schoone Maeght is my (current) favourite piece of music from the 17th Century.

In fact I'm currently using it as one of my pieces for my ABRSM Grade 4 exam in December and practising hard, and I still love it!

My biggest takeaway from the workshop was seeing how three different bass lines based on the A major scale could be played across the same song.

I know a little bit of music theory but it was interesting to see how it applied to playing a bass line.

It was a really interesting workshop, as someone who mostly plays other musical instruments, I was pleased to be able to pick up the various chord progressions, and hopefully with a bit of work will be able to get the triads and the walking bass line too

The people of North Devon will be outraged to learn today that the Conservatives’ pledge of a brand new hospital for North Devon was not worth the paper it was written on. All those Ministerial visits were delay tactics. They didn't have the budget. Even the National Audit Office stated it was widely off track.

I have demanded a meeting with @wesstreeting and his team to find out what they have planned for NDDH. I am fully committed to lobbying for the investment to happen to improve the clinical and estate infrastructure.
