It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Rabbi Zalman Leib Meisels, Auschwitz survivor, and Grand Rabbi of Sea Gate passed away tonight. He was 94. Rabbi Meisels was a renowned scholar who led his congregation with dedication for generations. He will be dearly missed.
