I spent most of 2023 in and out of hospitals. My weight dropped to 50kg (110lbs), and I had little energy for work. I started recovering in Q4 & now I'm launching two startups. I'm also on the verge of signing a $100k contract. Made me reevaluate many aspects of my life!

BREAKING NEWS TODAY: South Sudan to Withdraw from Egypt-Nile Water Agreement and Join East Africa
In a major move that could reshape the dynamics of water politics in the Nile Basin region, the Southern State's Minister of Information, Michael Makuei Lueth, announced after a Cabinet meeting in Juba, the decision to send the Framework Cooperation Agreement between East Africa on the Nile waters to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
This comes as part of South Sudan's plan to withdraw from the existing Egypt-Nile water agreement and align with East Africa. Once adopted by the parliament, the nation will officially transition from the previous agreement, under which Egypt's annual share is 55.5 billion cubic meters and Sudan's is 18.5 billion cubic meters.
A technical committee is to be formed under the leadership of the Vice President, comprising all relevant water-related ministries, to extensively discuss the Nile water issue.
Lueth highlighted significant historical agreements, including the "Nile Waters Agreement of 1959," complementing the 1929 agreement, which recognizes Egypt's share and grants the right to object to perceived threats to water security from Nile projects in countries like Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
Furthermore, Lueth called for a firm stance on the 1927 Nile Water Use Agreement that granted Egypt 85% of the water, a contract formed when several Nile Basin countries had not yet gained independence. He emphasized, "Now we are independent and have the right to decide for ourselves, and all these countries are saying that we will use our water in the way we want."
This move represents a significant shift in Nile water policies and could potentially trigger a new chapter in negotiations and agreements in the region. The decision by South Sudan to join East Africa in governing the Nile waters may have far-reaching implications for the future distribution and utilization of one of the world's most vital water sources.
