I watched Game 2 with some Timberwolves die-hards. There was no bitterness. No wallowing. Just unbridled happiness for one of their own: Karl-Anthony Towns.

One thing you get a sense of when you play 82-0 is how much the best players in the league have jumped around in the 2010s and 2020s vs. prior eras. We are blessed to have a superstar who wants to be here and is committed to winning as much as possible in NY.
@masonyo25 The irony here is that I remember feeling the same way about the Pacers' run last year, because of all the injuries, until they started the OKC series. Became very clear they were legit.
I could understand Pacer fans feeling the same on this Knicks run.
On my vacation I ran into a woman who claims to be Mikal’s neighbor, & she told me Mikal is the most bought in Knick on the team. She said this man eat sleeps & breathes for the team. She’s not even a hoop head like that but a New Yorker. What a co-sign 🤯
"We need to finish the game better. It was unacceptable, the way we let that 14 point lead go the way we did."
Jalen Brunson on what the Knicks need to clean up for Game 3:
KAT being the worst possible Wemby matchup makes you appreciate just how rare his skill set is. One of the best shooting bigs ever, but also a great rebounder, skilled driver, very good stationary passer, and has enough weight on him not to get pushed around. 1 of 1 talent.
Chet Holmgren & Jalen Duren getting All NBA over Karl Anthony Towns looked stupid as soon as it was announced and has only aged like a cappuccino since then.
Thanks again to the legendary Clyde Frazier for joining us on @ESPNNewYork for the 2nd quarter of Game 2
He’s enjoying this incredible run as much as anybody, deservedly so! #TwoMore
The New York Knicks shot just 5 free throws in the entire second half of Game 2 last night.
6 of their 9 free throws in the first quarter were from the hack-a-Mitch.
They still won.
These Nova psychos haven’t made eye contact with a reporter in months and just keep repeating “0-0” over and over like that kid from The Shining. Legitimately terrifying.
