@Northern_Travel Try this - it's probably a data glitch, but it gets one thinking! Note 1007-1010 (1A18) Leeds-Peterborough. According to https://t.co/ciSPI1mu6w it left Leeds as 800205+800210 and became 800204+800205+800206+800210 from Doncaster. Now what happens at Platfom 0 at KGX?
@ianvisits Not the only thing that happened today. The eastbound went pear-shape with trains being taken out of service at EAL or PAD mainline, 10 consecutive trains starting with 9U21 from MAI to ABW through to 9W32 from PAD to SNF were affected with nothing eastbound for 45 minutes.
@geofftech@Angus_Duncan The map shown is a little too 'blobby'. The Uists seem to merge whereas they are distinct islands joined by causeways, that should be reflected; so should the islands of Vatersay, Eriskay, Grimsay (albeit part of the Uist chain), Berneray, Scalpay and Great Bernera.
@geofftech All have passenger seaports with links to the Scottish Mainland or the Isle of Skye, with the exception of Benbecula which has an airport, as does Lewis and Barra. The other islands depend on one of these key islands for physical communication. (Part 2).
@geofftech Having been to the Outer Hebrides many years ago. the main islands are Lewis, Harris, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Barra, in that Order. These are the islands that have direct physical communication with the rest of Scotland. (Part 1)
