a soft grin claims his lips.

“ i have my charming moments. ” he half jokes, looking to her, grin turns to a soft smile, fond.

“ seriously though, don't let anyone change you. ”

"a charming suggestion," she teases before leaning back onto her arm, supporting her weight.

easily leaning into the touch, a soft hum, content, calm. he doesn't get to feel like this often.

“ you never should apologize for being you, or change.. you are enough, if others do not see it, they can go fuck themselves. ”

she lets her fingers ghost over the set of his brow now, her humming continuous under her breath.

"and i understand that i can be overwhelming. i have been told enough, but i am neither ashamed nor sorry about it."

“ a little magic, huh? ” he smiles, eyes closed for a moment.

“ saying i can't keep up? ” he asked so softly with a small grin, “ i don't need to retreat.. ”

"i'm a little magic like that," she hums, brushes a damp curl from his forehead. "don't feel like you need to keep it up. i do not mind if you need to retreat."

"hey, it's alright. i'm quite sweet on you as well." she slumped against him and traced invisible patterns on his face with a careful fingertip. "it's a nice sentiment."

“ perhaps.. maybe - ” a dust of red to his cheeks when he softly adds, “ yes. ”

she grins, placing several more kisses on his cheek. "you're very sweet on me, aren't you?"

“hmm..” he smiles softly, leaning a little to make it easier for her to reach.

“ no power trips or tantrums, i can promise you that. ”

sometimes it just takes the right people to make someone see the world differently. in a softer light.

she is going to just watch him quietly, for now.
