Getting a bit weary of the "heatwave will affect everyone, not just the vulnerable" line being trotted out. It's like COVID all over again - only to be taken seriously when its effects reach beyond those of us who are inconveniently disabled, elderly, etc.
The real problem in this country is that we need better health and social care, education & climate change management, plus fair benefits, criminal justice and defence. We need these much more than many things we buy personally. But politicians are hell bent on denying them to us
I mean, the end result won't be good for any of us, but I can't help enjoying the spectacle of the Tories ripping shreds off each other in the meantime.
