There's a right to privacy in our country, and the left, right, and middle can all agree that publishing someone's personal diaries is a clear violation. There's an exception for excerpts that reveal wrongdoing, corruption, or abuse. Sen. Rand Paul jeopardized all our rights when he wholesale published thousands of pages of Dr. Fauci's personal diaries. That's no way to treat a citizen. That's no way to treat a hero.

I’ve been asked by friends and media to comment on the recent Dr. Fauci document dump. There are plenty of people in Washington, D.C. who say and do things more for themselves than for our country. Tony Fauci is not one of them. He served this nation -mostly in the shadows - for 50+ years, until a pandemic and an election suddenly thrust him into the spotlight. A reminder that multiple academic studies - as well as international comparisons - show 100s of 1000s of Americans died from COVID who didn’t need to die had Trump taken it seriously from the beginning and been a minimally more competent president.
