Tyeb Mehta approached his practice with unusual rigor.
What emerges through these conversations is a shared reflection on the arc of his work across decades, and the rare opportunity to see that journey brought together at this scale during his centenary year.
TYEB MEHTA Bearing Weight (with the lightness of being) brings together voices connected to the exhibition and the artist’s legacy, offering another way into the retrospective.
This landmark retrospective is now extended till 26 July, with extended hours giving viewers more time with one of modern Indian art’s most significant bodies of work.
Come visit or revisit the exhibition, and spend more time with the works that resonate most with you.

The conversations shaping microSPILLS begin with its mentors.
For the second edition of microSPILLS, we are delighted to announce SNANE (Strengthening Networks Amongst Artists in Northeast) a platform represented by Lapdiang Artimai Syiem, Devadeep Gupta and Joshua Sailo along with Praveen Ashokan as mentors for this year's program.
Drawing from their diverse experiences as artists, educators, researchers, and cultural practitioners, they will guide participants through discussions, workshops, field engagements, and critical exchanges across the online and onsite phases of the program. Through their mentorship, participants will be supported in developing individual and collective responses that culminate in a pop-up exhibition and public programming in Shillong.

There are moments in Nalini Malani’s Of Woman Born that seem to settle differently in each person. A passing image, a remembered feeling, a sense of unease that quietly lingers after leaving the space.
What people carry with them is often difficult to define precisely. Malani’s work resists a single reading, asking instead to be experienced slowly and personally.
Experience the exhibition in its own rhythm, and allow the work to unfold long after you have left the room.

What does it mean for a place designed for movement to make room for stillness?
Suspended above a space shaped by constant activity, Chatai Dreams in the Sky by Ankon Mitra offers a rare invitation to look up and engage with space differently. Rooted in the artist's exploration of folding as both structure and language, the installation introduces a sense of attentiveness into an environment often experienced in passing.
Presented by KNMA in collaboration with Nexus Select Citywalk, the work brings contemporary art into an everyday public setting, creating unexpected moments of encounter amid the rhythms of the city.
Visit and experience the work for yourself.
