Understand that Glen have lodged an objection to Croke Park over the result of Sunday's All-Ireland club final after discussions this evening. CCCC expected to meet within 24 hours to decide. A replay the most likely decision, though what Kilmacud now do remains to be seen #GAA
Whatever comes out of this and for all the great things about the GAA game, the hierarchy has proved how spineless they are throwing it at @WattyGrahamsGAA to decide......a bit like our politicians on both sides as well in such a great Country to live in! #GrowASet
The game must be replayed. Otherwise there is no integrity in our system. The GAA’s reputation will be zero. This has nothing to do with Glen or Kilmacud.
In my opinion @WattyGrahamsGAA should not have to lodge an appeal. The GAA needs to step in and order one a replay.Glen did nothing wrong. The fault was with the officials and unfortunately @KCrokesGAAClub . Tough on them but the rules are the rules.
Update: The GAA won't lodge an investigation into the 16th man incident unless they receive an objection from Glen. An objection would almost certainly be successful and lead to a replay. The ball is entirely in Glen's court
