Tea Culture่ถๆๅ
China was the first country in the world to discover, cultivate, process and use tea. For thousands of years, tea, with its vast diversity of varieties and styles, its health benefits and its deep cultural context, is deeply entwined in the lives and emotions of the Chinese people. From state celebrations to folk customs, tea sends forth its fresh aroma. Tea is also a strong link between China and the rest of the world. It was carried to other places around the world over 2,000 years ago. British historian Dr. Joseph Needham wrote in his famous Science and Civilization in China that tea was Chinaโs fifth contribution to the world after its four great inventions of gunpower, paper making, printing and the compass.
