@MsKrispanis @Anthony74398607 @HPhysicsteacher @osstf Comparing Police pay to teacher pay is what started this thread. Police have 4 year undergrad and 1 year police training. 3 weeks vacation till year 5. Court is booked on their days off.
You lose the public when you claim you are not paid as well. Your role doesn’t compare.

@Anthony74398607 @HPhysicsteacher @osstf Seriously, you work a 6 hour day with a lunch, prep periods and maybe 1 staff meeting a month. 3-12 teachers may do extra curricular activities, most don’t. PA days for reports cards.
Your 6 year education flex is well compensated for, along with 3 months off.
