I asked @FedExHelp for some written confirmation that they had corrected the problem that results in them redirecting my packages to the wrong address, and he asked me if *I* wanted to write something down. 😭😠
Recommendation to my apartment- and condo-dwelling friends: avoid buildings that are using the Fetch package delivery service, if at all possible. It’s bad. It’s really, really bad.
@fatherqueerest Not North Seattle, but the deli in Tower 12 on 2nd Ave does decent breakfast sandwiches, and I think they’re $6-7. A very recent discovery of mine.
The last two Seattle Times articles I’ve read (“bike-lane-building-binge” and the one about Woodland Park) have made me want to throw my phone across the room, so I think it’s time to give up ST entirely.
@kcmetrobus@seattledot@mlbaruchman At least the headline displayed here is more responsible than the “bike-lane-building binge” headline. Paris built many times that in the last 1.5 years.
@BrockRides@UrbanistOrg@seattletimes@MikeLindblom This project has been a surprise to almost everyone I’ve mentioned it to. They know about the park, but they didn’t know the road is going to be wider.
Just heard a too loud car set off someone’s car alarm downtown. Walking around today, definitely seems like during the pandemic, a lot of dudes treated themselves to expensive mobile noisemakers. I saw a Maserati that was painfully loud for *blocks* away. WTF.
@NomeDaBarbarian …and also that having been told what and when, they can actually get up and do the thing without needing to coax/trick/guilt/etc. themselves into doing it.
@SheRidesABike If it wasn’t so zero sum on both budget and space, I’d be ok with the EV enthusiasm. But, it’s “oh sorry we ran out of money to finish that bike lane, and whoops, now there’s an EV charging station in the way so we can’t finish it.” 😭
