Joseph Springer is heading to Columbus! Finishing runner up at the district tournament, he has qualified for the state tournament this coming weekend.

Led by sectional champion, senior Joseph Springer, a trio of Rangers advanced to next week's district tournament. Senior Alex Ellis and freshman Veronica Fowler also advanced.

Good week for northwood wrestling. Joseph Springer took 1st at A classic. Veronica Fowler was 3rd at ladies classic. 10 podiums for biddies at Eastwood. Jameson Mcgaharan qualifies for grade school state.

The lady Ranger wrestlers opened up the season at the Clyde tournament. Congrats to Miki Corl for a 6th place finish. The boys were at Bucyrus. Carter Rita led the way with 4 wins and a 2nd place finish. Kevin O'Donnell placed 3rd. Joseph Springer and Skyler Rita took 4th.

The 60th Northwood Derr wrestling tournament was completed this weekend. The team had a top 10 finish and 3 podiums. Freshman Mason Carlo finished 6th. Skyler Rita took 3rd. Joseph Springer was champion at 126 pounds. The 1st hometown champion since 2019

All 7 varsity wrestlers earned all league honors at Toledo City League Championships. Joey Springer and Santos Ayala were crowned champions. Austin Hageman finished 2nd. Jon Mendez 3rd. Gage Sternberg, Alex Ellis, and Joziah Smith finished 4th.

At the Bowling Green tournament this past weekend, Joey Springer and Santos Ayala each posted 4 wins to claim 2nd place finishes. Austin Hageman had 3 wins and a 3rd place finish.
