@AltcoinDailyio What a shit post, I expect better of you. Gains are nice, but don't get blinded by it. Better support the chains who have the foundation to really change the way we live.
@mreflow I get this feeling. Been working in AI for 7 years, and one thing I’ve learned is that real breakthroughs don’t always hit right away. The true impact doesn’t even make sense until you see it optimized and scaled. Then, out of nowhere (it seems) bam—new jaw-dropping results!
It looks like the Gemini Quickening has begun. With the upcoming release of the first model to likely beat GPT-4 (at least temporarily) you can see a burst of announcements: GPT-4 multimodal & DALL-E3, Bard integrations, like more
Competition in the space is increasing velocity.
@AiBreakfast Don't agree with this conclusion. Any model with access, should be enough to add significant value. It's the models performance on policy reward functions that provides the big difference in user friendliness, therefore what people want to use. Just add personal data as context.
@AliAbdaal Essentially it's a constrained satisfaction problem. And I have to give up certain parts of my ideal week to make it work.
Things which solve this would direct me to the lessons of the 4 hour workweek of Tim Ferris. That would involve drastic changes, I'm not willing to take yet
@AliAbdaal Tried setting goals with the ideal week template and based on identity. I discovered that I have too many meetings of which I have close to no influence on when they happen, as i'm in two teams.
So my ideal week adjusted for the constraints is far of my ideal week.
How fix?
@svpino The more AI is connected to services, the more engineers will be needed to ensure ML pipelines are efficient & models are updated and tuned accurately. Data is a business. SQL and APIs will connect everything. If anything, AI is driving the demand for MLops even more
@Route2FI I get it when you spend like 3 to 5 hours on it.
Especially journaling and stretching can also have effects similar to meditation. Being in the now, mindful of your body and thoughts.
I like to get the things done before work of which I lack willpower to do after work.
@svpino Interesting thoughts. I get the function calling aspect, something I've used LangChain for so far (with GPT-3.5). 🤔
Personally though, I prefer the higher quality of GPT-4.🦾
In the end I pay for both. API for automation and ChatGPT for Q&A problem solving.☯️
