@jonkentcomrade correction FDR wasn't a leftist though, he was at most a social democrat that implemented basic social democratic policies pressured from other leftist political figures at the time, and even then capitalist of his era almost attempted a coup we know to day as "the business plot"

@Femalegirl7 by either having to install a central air conditioning system (GIF left) or install a ductless air conditioning system aka a min split system (GIF right) you can technically also look into installing a swamp cooler but those don't really deal with the humidity as a problem.
