An example of Bach's almost unfathomable mastery: the Contrapunctus 12 from his "The Art of the Fugue". It's a 4-Voice Double Mirror Fugue; each line in the 2nd fugue (bottom 4 lines) is a mirror image of the analogous line in the 1st (top 4). Oh yeah, it also sounds wonderful.
