@LutyThomas @adventuresbybus The only problem with the timetable is that passengers originating at Minehead only have 1hr 50 in Ilfracombe,last bus back to Lynmouth is 14.45. It would be nice if say the 17.45 went back from Blackmoor to Minehead in service. Cracking routes though especially in this weather!

@BusAndTrainUser Apart from last Friday & Saturday when there were a couple of single deck subs due to vehicle failure, we had 5 enjoyable days on the Coaster.
The 2nd Ilfracombe Sunseeker vehicle was a week later starting than advertised (bit naughty!) Great initiative though!

@SalopianLyne Nice picture Richard. Back in the 1960/70s most drivers left the saloon blinds up giving a good view out for passengers. 1980s onwards things went downhill in this respect, though not in all areas, but in the final years most drivers had all blinds down as in your photo. Pity!

@SalopianLyne The conductor rail shoe isolating 'paddle' reared up in the cab window denoting that the handbrake has been applied in that cab. All unofficial but widely used on the old Southern Region!

Or.. signal failure at z.. all lines blocked. Never used to be like this. Now this debacle to re rail a few wagons. Experienced staff long gone...
