If you are interested in species prioritisation and #triage, read a balanced article on the topic. Prioritisation works and delivers increased funding and better outcomes - do it - save more #biodiversity. @LeahLeopold@CornellBirds@nature_org https://t.co/wY0UFKpB95.
Pls beware koalas and other wildlife will be on the move. Drive carefully. Look out for injured animals. Put your local rescue number in your phone. https://t.co/5tsUuaAEQ9

Koala detected in active logging coupe!
Volunteer surveyors found this koala in the Blacksands Creek coupe, with two hectares of forest already cleared around it. Please call on Environment Minister Lily D'Ambrosio MP... https://t.co/UASWUBCMRf
Gut wrenching!! How many more species are going to go this way because of our greed? Some days it makes me question why I'm in Conservation Biology when so many people don't give a crap about our planet & its species. But if we don't who will? So we keep on researching & fighting https://t.co/tibMqq4Gi3
@Jeffrey_Addison@9NewsQueensland@AustraliaZoo They drink water all the time anyway. So much of what we thought we knew/what we were told, is wrong. Observations of koala behaviour in wild shows them drinking morning/night/summer/winter...we tell people to leave trays of water in shade under trees for them & other wildlife.
@KooLieZ @Koalas Search database by suburb or keyword. Map cost $80 USD per month & took me 4 hours week to update it. Apologies but as this project is self-funded & wiped me out in more ways than one for a long while, something had to give. Looking for a better cheaper way to provide map.
@savethekoala@koalatracker surely this area can be left as a refuge, its surrounded by gas fields... where will these koalas go now? https://t.co/TnuhSSpTiX
