A judge has ruled on a case I previously commented on. I called the women in the video and the sister who posted it racist. I was under the impression they were mocking George Floyd's death which doesn't seem to be the case.
To these girls I am sorry how things went. There should be punishment for racism, always. But this was not the case for it. I hope they are able to move on with their lives and the compensation they got will help them heal.
I think the issue is idk what my motivation to draw is anymore. Back in the day it was specifically to engage with the monster high community on da but that's dead now. So what do i do now? Have I truly been drawing from the heart?
@aury_jay It's really confusing. Truly, i just want validation for my personal art expression. And from what I see, that's from appealing to the masses. But I'm bad at it lol. I'm stuck in limbo between giving myself the validation which is what I should be doing vs chasing popularity.
I don't know what to do with my twitter. Recently I've felt so aimless with my art and social media. There's just so much to do to capture people's attention and grow and frankly I just don't care.
And quite frankly It feels like a chore to act like everyone else. I'm not witty or engaging, I can't play the game and so I rebel. But it makes me feel left out and even more incompetent for not playing to the algorithm.
I just feel lost
But I've grown not to care. Every artist wants to feel special from what they've made but there's just so much out there I feel overwhelmed and buried. When I finally touch a canvas and post in pride it feels meaningless. As each second it moves power in my feed.
I made a furaffinity for anthro-related content.
