@Jmanvelez@ldekol@ElCidolfas In the USA manual for Mega Man X, the story goes that Dr. Cain unseals X the day after X was discovered, and the first reploid was completed over 7 months later. Most English speakers will be more familiar with this version of the story which was retold in the Archie comics.
@Capt_Char@Eggmaster23 In the Ruby Spears cartoon he was called Rock up until he was converted into Mega Man (so only in the first episode).

@ak_blueprints It’s a shame Roll wasn’t mentioned in the game instruction manuals. Can you recall if you published anything regarding her character back then?
@Lknight9101@Protodude It’s a pic from near the end of the Secret Level Mega Man episode with a possible message shown on buildings:
26 = 2026
38 = March 8 OR Mega Man’s 38th anniversary year (December 17 2025 - December 16 2026)
Nova = a bright explosive astronomical event whose name means “new star”
@ariga_megamix On the subject of Rockman 9, how did you interpret the ending of that game? Were the robot expiration laws repealed, or were the R9 Numbers merely excused from them and became household robots?
@Ca_Estevez96@Protodude I like that. Japanese name is DreamVirus R, and the brainstem generates REM sleep.
Could also be a connection point for the pulse transmission system (think headjacks from the Matrix). With how close they were released, there could be some overlap with BN3 and NT’s development.
@HuinGuillaume I really enjoyed this. Thank you and the entire team for all your hard work.
Question, who’s driving the big red shoe? I can’t quite make them out!
@Protodude Double dip? For this company maybe. This is like the 5th time some of us have purchased some of these episodes on home video platforms.
The only thing I think this is missing is the Japanese subtitles from the recent Rockman USA. Maybe next release?
@HqRockman Thank you for another fun video!
2:38 - The Mega Armor series shown just uses one standard skeleton framework for all characters. The helmet-less designs from the artbook were for Bandais Full Color Cross series of mini figures, where X and Zero have unique head designs. 🤓
@BridgeOfFaust@Protodude This Japanese guidebook goes with there being multiple Doc Robots, as do Hitoshi Ariga’s mangas.
American sources like the NES Game Atlas, Nintendo Power articles and the Archie comics describe it as if there’s only one.
