“It’s gone from them not sharing information … to them actively covering it up”
Rep. Pat Ryan (D-NY) - a U.S. Army veteran who represents West Point - about Trump Admin. handling of War in Iran
Despite the president’s best efforts to undermine it, Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan's damning book is on track to be the bestselling nonfiction work of 2026.

Service members we lose—whether 18 or thousands—represent families grieving someone who will never come home, children growing up without a parent, and loved ones carrying that loss for the rest of their lives.
The president is trying to minimize the tragic cost of his senseless war. What a disgrace.
Four U.S. service members killed over the weekend. Our deepest condolences to their families. May they rest in peace and may their memories be a blessing.

Today's hearing with Secretary Hegseth confirmed the Iran war is a war in search of a mission.
Hegseth talks a lot about 'winning,' but given multiple chances to explain what winning means, the best he could do was rehash disproven talking points.
This war must end, NOW.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth estimated the latest cost of the Iran war at $37.5 billion, some $9 billion higher than earlier figures provided by the Defense Department. https://t.co/CWVhhcUT1B
The Pentagon has identified 30-year-old Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton of North Carolina as another service member killed in the Iran War.
He was a father and husband with two children.
Trump is bragging about killing 18 US soldiers.
Thats how I read this stupid posts.
The “peace president” went to war and is killing and wounding our troops.
GFY.
As a reminder, Pete Hegseth was pushed out of TWO veterans nonprofits amid financial mismanagement allegations, running groups into debt, overspending on parties/events, and treating funds like personal accounts.
Now, he has just about bankrupted the Pentagon despite a record budget and is demanding another $1.5 trillion.
CNN: An investigation finds that Trump cuts created a "perfect storm" for a slowed response to the Cyclospora outbreak. More than half of states are reporting Cyclospora infections. A former federal lab official said the cuts led to 'the loss of specialized staff needed to identify the source of the outbreaks.'
Three more American servicemembers were tragically killed in the Iran war.
Nearly 100 more have been injured in recent weeks.
The costs of the Iran war keeps going up.
Yet the President is keeping us in the dark about his strategy as this conflict rages on.

Remember when they said Trump would get us into a full-blown war with Iran?
Times like these should make us all realize how lucky we were to have Trump, his strength and his resolve.
Gas prices are up, our heroes are being killed and Iran is stronger than before.
It's time to bring Donald Trump's war in the Middle East to an end.
Enough.
My heart breaks for the families of the servicemembers we lost in Jordan and Iraq this weekend. The Trump-Vance Administration must end its foolish, unauthorized war in Iran that is putting our troops in harm’s way.
Pete Hegseth was busy marketing testosterone supplements for troops while withholding casualty numbers from the Iran war from the American people.
If he actually cared about our service members, he'd be focused on bringing them home safely—not their testosterone levels.
We're told that we just don't have the money for health care. But apparently we have plenty of money to upgrade Trump's private jet.
We don't suffer from a lack of resources. We suffer from a lack of moral imagination.
