Documenting My Ecom Journey of $0 → 7 Figures

$113.16 AUD ~ $80 USD to my name.

I'm exactly where I deserve to be.

This year was supposed to be the year I “locked in” and finally broke through, but things didn't go to plan and truth is, I didn't work hard enough.

I could go into detail and give you a sob story but the reality is that it doesn't matter and what happened, happened.

Long story short:
I ruptured my ACL, resulting in losing my job & my ability to walk/move around properly for months. However, I'm a few weeks post-surgery, I'm in rehab, finally able to walk again.

Parent's also had health issues, both 50+ and it was a huge wakeup call that I'm running out of time.

I'm turn 21 next week.
I'm in debt
No job
Not studying
With almost no cash and a credit card.

Here's my plan:

Now that I've got my full license and can move around again, I've signed up to drive for Uber Eats. This will cover my living expenses, rehab, gym, etc and hopefully give me some breathing room.

I’ll be using my credit card to fund the initial ad spend. It’s obviously not an ideal position to be in, and I’m fully aware I’m taking on more risk by doing it.

But at this point, I’ve put myself in a situation where I need to make something work.

For me, this is pretty close to do or die.

Once I have saved up some Uber money, I'll be buying @shauneng & @spencepawliw's Origins Course & a physical copy of Breakthrough Advertising.

Reason being, I've only ever seen these two being regarded as goats in marketing and as well respected people in the ecom space. So I figured Origins could be a legitimate, valuable course I can learn from.

Hopefully I can apply what I learn, scale, and eventually buy Evolve and head towards 7 figures.

But that's the goal anyway.

If anyone has been in a similar situation, I'd take any advice. What would you do if you were me? Is what I'm doing retarded?

I'll be completely transparent and open to advice throughout this.

I'll show real numbers and all my mistakes.

With that being said, I'll be going off to do my first Uber Session tonight, and I'll update how it goes tmr for Day 1.

Ad Spend: $139.44
Profit/Loss: -$139.44

Uber: $187.59AUD
Gas: $25.26AUD
Profit: $162.33AUD ~ $113.91 USD

Total P/L: -$25.53 USD

Tested a Halloween Prod and basically just burnt my money. Lowkey the product itself wasn't anything special, and I probably shouldnt have tested it.

I'm testing Halloween prods in hopes I could catch a "quick bag". Since I'm low on funds, this is definitely a little bit of a gamble. But it could be worthwhile.

Only going to be testing a few more and then I'll be going back to evergreen products.

Today I found a new product, made the store & ads and launched it. Bit on the fence with this one but definitely higher expectations than my previous.

Only downside is due to the lack of usable footage & quality footage of the product caused the ads themselves to not be the best.

Going off to do another Uber session tonight as there are promotions for Friday night, hopefully it should bring in more than yesterday.
