At Rs 2.32 crore a day, the Yogi Adityanath govt in Uttar Pradesh spent Rs 6,811 crore on publicity over eight years.
That outpaces the central Modi government, which spent roughly Rs 6,000 crore on advertising over 11 years.

This Lallantop clip of a JPSC aspirant showing her agenda, time table, talking about how she keeps downloading apps to improve her communication skills is just painful to watch. ‘no plan b’. everything wrong with our ‘exam system’ - which is different from an education system - all at once
Sky News reports that a 28-year-old Palestinian woman, six months pregnant and suffering severe internal bleeding, was being transported from Qaryout in the occupied West Bank to Rafidia Surgical Hospital in Nablus when Israeli soldiers stopped her ambulance at the Awarta checkpoint.
Video shows Israeli forces detained the ambulance crew for more than 30 minutes, subjected the bleeding, critically ill woman to a physical search, and ordered the driver to turn off the engine, cutting power to the vehicle’s onboard medical equipment.
During the forced delay, a nurse was forced to deliver the fetus stillborn inside the stranded ambulance. The woman was eventually allowed to proceed to the hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery and saved her life. The baby could not be saved.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma says his gov't is building a 5-star @Hyatt Hotel on gov't land.

The point is - the state’s machinery visibly speeds up or slows down depending on who got embarrassed. Real, doxxed, non-consenting women wait months for one arrest. A PM gets an apology ASAP after fuckwads like @JaipurDialogues goes after the kid like a fucking predator.
Fucking shameful.
Taking this as an opportunity to understand what laws (not that this govt. gives a shit about the rule of law) empower these tyrants to go after these kids. (Attempt at 1st 🧵sharing my learnings, please correct if I’m factually wrong)
The Union Government of India used its entire ecosystem including police, media and social media followers to get 4 kids to post apology videos. A very impressive achievement.
Not to forget @idisharavi who was arrested in days and spent 10 days in custody (on sedition charges no less) because she edited a Google doc claimed to be a protest “toolkit”. 🤦♂️
