Thank you Prof. Ramgopal Yadav, Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha) @proframgopalya1 , for raising the critical issue of non-implementation of the Supreme Court’s order on OGAS status for CAPFs and for voicing concern over the proposed law affecting the forces. Your support for justice, dignity, and institutional integrity of CAPFs is deeply appreciated. 🇮🇳

Government of India showed will to finish Naxalism, and CAPF’s delivered the message loud and clear .
Why can’t we appreciate the efforts by giving them what they deserve, Government should open up senior posts to CAPF cadre officers.

Sometimes, Duty Speaks the Language of Kindness.
At the arrival area, a little girl, overwhelmed with joy on seeing her father, rushed ahead without a second thought. With calmness and care, a CISF personnel gently stepped in — keeping her safe while ensuring security protocols were followed.
Handled with patience, empathy and a human touch, the moment reflected how duty and compassion can walk hand in hand.

Do you actually understand the phrase, 'मै बॉर्डर पर तैनात था!'...???
Let us put the record straight.
Ever since I joined @BSF_India as a young officer in 2000 & after having put in more than 24 years of service while deployed for guarding the various border areas of my country as well as Internal Security & Counter-Insurgency Operations, I am appalled at the gross misconception that most of our countrymen have about facts pertaining to our country’s borders & the respective Border Guarding Forces.
Despite the plethora of information available, it is surprising that we do not make an effort to do our own research from factual sources.
So, my dear fellow countrymen, though in no way intending to be comprehensive, let me put some facts straight (as you all can read & conduct your own research & fact-checks to follow-up):
1. The International Boundary (IB), is an officially demarcated line seperating a country with another. This is when you use the terms de-jure & de-lineated. It is done by a process called delimitation. This line is marked on ground with the help of Boundary Pillars (BP), which are sequentially numbered along with many Reference Pillars, Subsidiary Pillars, G-Pillars, etc,.
2. India shares land boundaries with many countries. In the case of India's boundaries, it is the concerned Border Guarding Force (BGF), not to be mistaken as Indian Army, which is deployed for the task of Border Management (the operative word being Management - as it has evolved from mere guarding).
3. So, specifically, in the case of the Indo-Pak & Indo-Bangladesh Border, it is the Border Security Force (BSF) which is deployed for securing these respective Borders. Similarly, the SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal - earlier Special Service Bureau) is tasked with securing the Indo-Nepal & Indo-Bhutan Borders. So goes with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) & Assam Rifles (AR).
4. All these above BGFs are controlled by the Ministry of Home Affairs, (not the Ministry of Defence which controls the Indian Army, Indian Airforce & Indian Navy).
5. There is a significant difference between the terms 'International Boundary (IB)', 'Line of Control (LoC)', 'Line of Actual Control (LAC)'. While the IB requires deployment of Border Guarding Forces, the LoC & LAC are not mandatorily secured by them, as they are de-facto in nature, lacking at most times a clear demarcation! In the case of LoC (between India & Pakistan) & LAC (between India & China), the BGFs if deployed there are under Operational Control of the Indian Army.
So, next time when you hear someone saying, "I am on the Border", ask them, "Oh, you are in the BSF (or whichever Border that the person has claimed to have been deployed at)!?
For our own sake, and for our country's sake, DONOT let people pass off false claims / narratives & perpetrate MISINFORMATION & DISINFORMATION.
