The Wheaton baseball team concluded its season this afternoon in a CCIW Tournament first round game against Millikin on the campus of tournament host, Illinois Wesleyan University. The Big Blue won today's matchup, 5-2, to advance to the next round of the competition.

Braden Engel (pictured in second photo) registered a game-high two hits, scored both of Wheaton's runs, and stole the only base on Wednesday, while Daniel Hillyer (third photo) posted the Thunder's lone RBI.

The Thunder end their campaign having qualified for the conference tournament for the first time since 2022.

The 2025 season concluded for @wheaton_sb this afternoon following the Thunder's game against the Millikin Big Blue in the first round of the CCIW Tournament in Bloomington.

Paige Andrews (pictured in second photo) tallied a hit in her final appearance for the program, while senior Isabel Hillyer (third photo) stole two bases as the only runner to take a bag in today's game.

The Thunder close out their schedule having earned a place in the conference tournament for the first time since 2019 and posting their most victories in a season since 2022.
